How does it work?

There is a heating element built in to the Aroma Spa.  You fill the unit with water, set the timer, set the temperature control, and indulge in luxury.  The water heats up, and fills the chamber with moist hot steam.  That's basically it.

Does it need to warm up or is it always hot?

It needs to warm up for about 7 minutes when you first turn it on.  The best thing to do is to fill it with water, then fill the optional aromatherapy container with a few drops of essential oils of your choice, close the door, set the temp. control to high (to warm up), set the timer, shut the door, and get undressed.  By the time you're ready to go in, it should be just about ready.  If you don't like your steam room to be too hot, then before going in, adjust the temp. control to medium, or whatever setting you feel most comfortable with.  But for fasted warm up, you should set it to high before going in, and then readjust it upon entry.

Do I need special plumbing?

No, that's one of the great things about these units.  They're portable!!  Everything is built in!  You do not need any special plumbing.  It is all self contained.  Just add water, plug in, and it's ready to go.

Do I need special electrical wireing?

No, but you do need a standard 3 prong 110/115 volt grounded outlet.  If you have an older two prong outlet, or if your three prong outlet is not properly grounded, contact an electrician.  If you have a 3 prong grounded outlet, then you're good to go

Can I use the unit outside?

We do not recommend it.  The unit is designed for indoor use only.

Is aroma therapy good for everyone?

No.  Aromatherapy is becoming very popular, and steam therapy has been around for thousands of years.  However, while many individuals can benefit tremendously from steam rooms, some people should NOT go into a steam room.  For example, pregnant women are advised not to enter a steam room, or sauna, or hot tub during pregnancy.  If you are sick, ill, infirm, or in anyway not sure whether steam is for you, please check with your doctor before entering any such room or devise which will raise your body temperature.  For most people, however, steam therapy is very healthy.  Please visit our web page health benefits of aroma therapy if you would like to learn more about the benefits of aroma therapy or steam therapy.  But again, check with your medical doctor just to be sure.

Is there a Warrantee on the unit?

Yes there is.  It is one year warrantee from the manufacture.  We have been selling these units for years, and we have not heard of anyone who has needed to use the warrantee.  The units are built solid.

What about returns if we are not happy with it?

Obviously, we want you to be happy with your unit.  That is why we offer a free video describing the unit so if you have any questions, hopefully the video will answer it.  You can also call us at any time to discuss any questions or concerns that you might have, before or after the sale.  If you have gotten this far, and found us on the internet, you probably already know a lot about aroma Spa, and have probably seen us on Oprah, or in numerous television and magazines.  Nevertheless, if you are not satisfied with the unit, you may return it to us within 30 days for a refund.  We cannot refund shipping charges, and you will have to pay the return shipping to us.  But we will refund to you the amount you paid for the unit. To be honest, we do not make money on returns.  That should be obvious.  We want you to purchase the aroma Spa because we know it is a great unit, and we want you to purchase it from us.  But if you have any questions, please contact us before purchase instead of purchasing it and then returning it to us. We try to have the lowest prices in USA (so far as we are aware) on the Aroma Spa, to save you money, and therefore prefer sales that are final to returned sales.  But yes, we will take it back within 30 days if you are not satisfied.  If you do decide to return it, be sure to return it with all the original packing materials and the amenities kit.  Also, for your protection, please ship it back insured.

How do I assemble or install the aroma Spa?

You do not need to install the aroma Spa.  But you do need to assemble it.  There are basically 3 parts to the unit.  The base (which contains the water chamber, heating element, and timer), the wall and door unit, and the top/roof of the aroma Spa) so the steam stays in).  After you remove the protective plastic from the walls (it is shipped this way to protect it), just place the walls in the base, attaching it with built in hand knobs, and then put the roof on it.  It is quite simple and understandable, and should take no more than 15 minutes.  But best of all, we even include an a special video on how to assemble the unit.  And of course, if you have any questions, you can always call us toll free at 800-788-9336

Does any thing else come with the unit?

Yes, we include a $50.00 spa-ammenaties kit for free with each unit sold.  It includes a wonderful assortment of essential oils, a loofa sponge, massage oils, and other luxury items.  Additional kits are available for $50.00 from us.

What information do you need for me to place my order?

We need your full name, address where we are shipping it, credit card # with expiration date, (or if you would like, you may mail us a check), telephone #, and e-mail address.  For security, the address we are shipping to must match the address on your credit card and phone number.  If your billing address is different from your shipping address, indicate so, and we may need to call you for additional verification.  This is to protect you against unauthorized use of your credit card accounts.

How do you ship the units, how much does it cost, and how long will it take to arrive?

We ship the single person Serene via UPS, and the 2 person Gemini via TRUCK.  The units ship from California, and it usually takes about 7 working days to reach most destinations outside of USA. Shipping charges are $50.00 for the Serene, and $140.00 for the Gemini within the contiguous U.S.  For shipping rates outside the USA, please contact our office.

Is the price negotiable? Do you offer any specials or discounts?
